Fishball Noodle

One should never underestimate fishball noodle. It's so simple to make, comforting & all it takes is a spoonfull of really good chilli & you're in heaven.

It took me about 30-45mins to whip this up. My so called "emergency" meal.

I really like those stuffed DODO fishballs. Ok, I like fishballs, period.

Ingredients
Noodles - whichever type you prefer.
1.5L water
1 medium onion
1 clove garlic
1 chicken cube & 1ikan bilis cube
fishballs
fishcake, sliced
pepper to taste
local lettuce/chye sim or whatever you fancy and fried shallots for garnishing

Method
1. Blend onion and garlic into paste
2. Boil water and add onion/garlic paste and the stock cubes
3. Let the soup boil for 15-20mins and make sure that the cubes are dissolved
4. Add fishballs and sliced fishcakes and continue simmer for about 10min
5. Add pepper to taste
6. Blanch noodles and lay lettuce in the bowl
7. Place the noodles on the lettuce and scoop the soup over with fishballs and fishcakes
8. Sprinkle fried shallots and sliced chilli and serve hot

Note: I just crushed the onion & garlic a bit coz I had no time to blend. Heh

Peanut Butter Pie

Just 1 word... S.W.E.E.T..!!! I made it just so I can use up my carton of whipping cream before it goes bad. It's not bad but I'm not a peanut butter fan so... hhmmm.. I don't know.. But it looks pretty though..
